Beary Birthday

Just finished this card for the Lily of the Valley Challenge Blog! They have some really cute stamps! Love animal stamps! I don't know if you can tell but my picture should be a little clearer...I bought a new camera this weekend! I might also use this card to give to my grandma since her birthday is next weekend...if I have time, I'll try to make something more unique.

Hope everyone's week is off to a great start!

Simple Hello Kitty Thank You Cards

Can't believe tomorrow is back to work again! That's okay, I spent a lot of money this weekend! :( Including Ben Franklin's Bag Sale! I made this thank you card set awhile ago for my friend who loves HK but forgot to post them. I decided to make a simple card using the HK embosslits because they're so easy to cut out! I used stickles around the outlines of HK.

Here's one up close...

Here's all 5 I made for the set...

Thanks for stopping by!

Strawberry Girl

I've noticed lately there's a lot of challenges with a strawberry theme! Yay! And this challenge that I did for Truly Scrumptious was a strawberries n cream theme! Totally awesome! And a perfect chance to use the new stamp Shirley gave me! Slowly working on blending with copics! Ended up making this card a little plain, but that's okay, I still like it and it makes the image stand out!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Just a quick post to share the brak I received from Shirley! I was very surprised and it definitely made me hapy after a long day at work!

Beautiful Card! Love all the details! :)

Also got these goodies! OMG, totally love the stamp...strawberry girl!

Cheerful Girl...

I know it's a lame blog title but I gotta go to bed soon and I'm super full from having my bday dinner at Formaggio's in Kailua then Yo Gurt Mama! But everything was delicious! I did a sketch challenge at The Sweet Stop Also, part of the challenge was to decorate the inside of the card. Had fun using my new border punch.

Front of the card. I turned the sketch sideways.

Sorry kind of blurry. Both sides has the border punch.

You're Berry Sweet!

Yay...I got to make another strawberry card! Turned out simpler than I wanted it but I was taking too long of an idea so I just stamped the image to be the background. The theme was "Strawberries n Cream" at Cupcake Craft Challenge! Awesome! Again, I used a stamp from Two Scoops Rice Designs along with the sentiment. Lately, my mojo has been on vacation! Here's what I came up with...

Strawberry Shortcake Birthday

Got to do another sketch challenge this weekend! This time I did one from Stamping 411 Thought this sketch was interesting. Wanted to use one of my stamps I never got to use from Two Scoops Rice Designs! So cute! My card came out simple, but I still like it! Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Surprise Blog Candy!!!

My birthday is coming up next week so I decided to do a small giveaway! It's a surprise blog candy because I made a list of people who comment my blog on a semi-regular basis...I got 7 people. I wrote the names in no particular order. Then I told my grandma to choose a number between 1 to 7. I forgot if she did this last time I had a blog candy but she picked 7 because it's her favorite. (maybe next time i'll go random.org) But for this candy 7 is the winner and that is Shirley (Stampin for the fun of it) Congrats Shirley! Please e-mail me with your address so I can get your suprise candy out to you! My e-mail is on the right side bar. Yay tomorrow is Friday!

Simple Thank You Card Set

Hello! I decided to make a simple thank you card set from the Stampin' Up "Very Thankful" stamp set I got free from the sale a bration awhile back. For the longest time, I couldn't think of what to do even though it was going to be simple. I decided to make each card a one color theme. I used my embossing folder that matched the stamp. For the green-blue and orange, I did not have paper to match the color of the stamp. I ended up embossing white cardstock and brushed the ink on the raised part of the embossed design. I like the design because it reminds me of Louis Vuitton! Pretty! It's hard to tell, but I heat embossed the words.

Here's one up close...

Here's all four...

TFL! Hope everyone's week is off to a great start!

Have a blooming good day!

I was able to do another sketch challenge this weekend! Yay! Keep me motivated and helps me to create better cards slowly! I used one of the few stamped images I have of Pure Innocence...so cute...haven't gotten around to buying any yet though! :( My card may be a bit plain but I still love it because I'm finally getting a little used to using more bright colors! I thought this card looked ok already with no embellishments. This is for One Stop Craft Challenge! Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Birthday!

Decided to make a birthday card for "someone" whose birthday is coming up! I realized it's okay to make birthday cards without having birthday images (balloons, cupcake, etc.) on the card so I figured I'd try my first one. My card is for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge! I totally love all of her stamps...especially the animals, and I love cats so I had to use this stamp!

Sorry the cat is hard to see! Need to get a better camera...one day, not soon though! :(
Sad this card came out a bit plain but I hope she likes it anyway! I realized I have a hard time matching colors when there are too many layers! Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Thanks a Bunch!

Finally got a chance again to do another challenge! I did a sketch challenge at Lily of the Valley! I thought it would be a good idea to participate since I recently received three stamps from their company! All of their stamps are so cute.

So glad I was off today for Kam Day. Hope you had the day off too!

Relaxing Bears...

The image I used really looks like the bears are relaxing so that's how I got the title for this post. And I colored them to look like stuffed animals! Hehe. I participated in a sketch challenge at Stamping 411 I wish I had the copic airbrush system! It would have helped when I colored the sky and grass! Maybe one day! Oh and I need to learn how to make nice bows! I wanted to make one on this card but I still didn't get a chance to learn how to use the bow-easy I bought awhile back!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Graduation Cards

My mom asked me to make her a few graduation cards. I was kind of stumped because I hardly make graduation cards and my images are limited. I made a couple simple ones and used one with Graduation Anya.

Can't really tell but I put glossy accents on some of the stars...

A simple one for a male...

Grad Anya is so cute. You might think this is supposed to be a Halloween card but my mom said orange and black are the school colors...

Hope everyone had a great week! Time for the weekend! Yay!

Recycled Thank You Cards

Finally back to blogland, just got back from Las Vegas & Disneyland again. Jabbawockeez was awesome!! Good to be back in Hawaii though! Anyways, these are some cards I made before my trip. Nothing special...just trying to be "green"! :) I saw somewhere in a magazine once where they reused old cards to make new ones! So that's what I did.

This is from the Ben Franklin Gift Card Holder...

These 2 cards are from a Hawaiian card I received last year...

For this one...I just cut the top portion of the card...

I really like the Hawaiian one. Omg, and what I realized after becoming a craft addict, it makes me more of a pack rat than I already was! Like I wanna use every little scrap and save what can be salvaged!
